Alice CarolineRENDALLALICERENDALLAlice Caroline(Nee Wardle)Passed away peacefully at the Diana, Princess of Wales Hospital, Grimsby on September 29, 2003 aged 64 years.You fought your illness bravely, always with a smile and not a single complaint, a shining star to all who knew you.The loving wife of Jack for 42 years, wonderful mother of Debbie and Elaine, brilliant grandma to Kirsty, Christopher, Nicholas and Emily, mother-in-law to Terry and Gavin, sister to Florence, Lily, Eva, Joyce, June, Arthur, Allan, George, John and the late Leonard and David. Our thanks to Dr. Doldon, Dr. Mack, Carol Brocklebank, Karen Smith and all the staff at the Macmillan Suite for their kindness over the years, also many thanks to the staff at St. Andrews Hospice and the Doctors and Staff on Wards C1 and C3 Holles.The sunshine has disappeared from my life,Now that you have gone,You made my life have meaning when you came along,You helped me forget the sorrow of my early years,With your smile and laughter you helped me with my tears,42 years of happiness you gave to me no man could ask for more,So goodbye my love,And in good time I hope we will be together again,Your Loving Husband Jack.Service at St. Giles Church, Grimsby on Monday, October 6 at 9.30am followed by committal at the Grimsby Crematorium. Resting in the Dedicated Chapel of Repose of Mashfords Funeral Home, Norfolk Lane, Cleethorpes where floral tributes may be sent, or donations in lieu, if so desired, may be sent to `Mashfords Donations Account' and the final sum will be forwarded to the Macmillan Nurses at St. Andrews Hospice.
